Forever Young (50+)

We have a very active seniors group, “Forever Young” (ages 50 and over) at Poplar Springs Church.  Their business meeting is the first Thursday of each month at 10:00 AM in the Family Life Center, usually with an activity following. If there is a change in place and time, it will be announced in the church’s Sunday bulletin.

 

They enjoy several one day bus trips during the year, and a few overnight ventures.

 

These wonderful people are involved in all areas and ministries of the church including missions, preparing communion for Sunday services, visitation to the area nursing care facilities, preparing meals for the sick and shut ins, and participating in whatever area needed.  They are a vibrant and very important part of our church.
